A Little Bit About Me...
Michelle (Patrick) Marshall
My love of art and music has always framed my life. As a child my mother would let me play records on an old Telefunken at nap time and I would fall asleep studying the covers over and over. I used to dream of being the person who designed those covers. When I was a teen I would draw and paint the album covers of my favorite bands on my clothes. Whatever idea would strike me I would learn the skill to bring it to life. My interests expanded over the years into working with clay, fabric, screen printing, jewelry making and Celtic design.
In my twenties I fell in love with Celtic design and history. It is a large part of my heritage. After fruitless searches for classes in the design style I decided to travel to the UK and immerse myself in the rich history and culture for inspiration.
The name Padruig came from my Celtic designs and is my maiden name Patrick in Gaelic. The logo is my design "Celtic Circle of Life"©. It felt appropriate because after many years of working in non artistic fields, I have finally come full circle, back to my roots.
I am truly blessed that now I get to design album covers and web graphics for musicians as well as create jewelry and decor.
